Shelter/Bothy
Situated just above the west end of the village, looking out over the ocean, this small bothy or shepherds shelter is formed by a drystone wall built between two large natural boulders. Open to the south, the shelter has evidence of the remains of a hearth against the base of the westerly boulder. The whole monument including the boulders is 6.0 metres by 3.0 metres, the shelter itself is 2.0 metres wide and 2.0 metres deep.
