Drainage system
A series of parallel stone lined drainage ditches run southwards, uphill from the burn in the centre of the croft. Situated at roughly 5 m intervals across the croft, these ditches are 0.75 m-1 m wide and often have stone dykes situated immediately beside them. These stone dykes represent both dredging of the ditches and the building of leves to further the drainage capacity.
