Croft house
Oriented north-south this croft house is of a very early design having only one entrance in its south end that opens directly into the byre. The dwelling was then entered through the byre. A latter barn abutts the west wall and was accessible from the byre or from a door in its south wall. This building has no apparent flue or fireplace in its dwelling area.
