Croft house
Sat on a natural mound, this dwelling is built of partially reused stone. Measuring 5 m by 14.5 m this structure survives as masonry gable ends. The walls which were prefabricated in wood have been reused to build the loom shed that houses John MacGregors loom. This dwelling house had a fireplace in either gable and was probably had two rooms with access by a central corridor.
