Full Description

112: NB 0515 3532
dyke, mill race?
Situated on the north side of Allt Liana Stieshal is a stone revetment that runs for 24m and is 4m at its widest. This revetment faces away from the stream and creates a level piece of ground between its faces that stands up to 1m in height. This structure appears to serve no purpose but may conceivably be part of a water control feature designed to channel water to a mill that can no longer be identified.
