Full Description

Human mandible found in the sand by visitors & reported to Police Scotland Balivanich. Location is within the tidal zone. Its seems likely that this bone eroded out of the sites located on the western side of the bay and was washed around the bay by the tide. The bone itself is quiet green and appears to have been out off its original context for some time.
No eroding burials were noted in or around the bay.
