Full Description


Blackhouse type structure comprising of robust stone and earth walls, approx dimensions 7 x 3m. Rectangular in plan, Northern gable end is square, southern gable end completely curved, possible entrance in eastern wall ,internal stone may indicate internal division or phased construction of this structure.

This building is visible on the 1st ed 6"" OS Map.

Identified following site visit ahead of a proposed woodland scheme.
