Full Description

A large stone structure within an apparent sub triangular enclosure. The structure appears to be circular and divided interally into a rectangle, square and a cresent. This may be a reflection of later structures built on an earlier site.
No structures are depicted on 1st ed 6" OS or R.Reid's 1799 map of North Uist
This site was identified through AP's and stands out as unusual. This may possibly relate to the record for the 17th century fish store and magazine SMR.1269; however the size of the site would indicate prehistoric origins.
