Full Description
A large stone structure within an apparent sub triangular enclosure. The structure appears to be circular and divided interally into a rectangle, square and a cresent. This may be a reflection of later structures built on the site.
No structures are depicted on 1st ed 6" OS or R.Reid's 1799 map of North Uist
This site was identified through AP's and stands out as unusual. This may possible relate to the record for the 17th century fish store and magazine SMR.1269.
