Full Description

A large circular grass covered mound with a flat top and occaisional stone visible. Diameter 11m and approx 2m in height.
Located on the top of a natural ridge line with a comparative feature directly to the south. There are lazy beds in this area and these run over the northeastern side of the mound.
This feature has been modified at some piont, part of the northern side appears to have been dug out and incorporated into a small sheiling type structure directly to the north; this modification may be the reason for the flat top also.
This may have been a sheiling type structure at some point; however the origins of this mound may go back into antiquity.
