Full Description

Probable burial cairn, reused as some type of dwelling. Located up above the old settlement ruins at Dalmore. This site comprises of a roughly oval shaped mound of earth and stone covered in grass with a sub rectangular depression within it. The latter feature is likely to be a later structure. The mound is noticeable for the up-standing stones that surround it, particulary on the southern, western & eastern sides. These othostats may indicate the remains of a kerb for the cairn.
Dimesions are approximatly 8m diameter & 0.5m height.
