Full Description

Large sub rectangular stone & earth built enclosure located on a flattish area between the valley floor and the rocky hill tops above. An earlier curving earth and stone, grassed over bank was noted in the internal area of this enclosure.
This enclosure is apparent on the 1st Ed 6" OS Map of 1853.
