Full Description

The remains of a ruined building eroding out of the dune face at the edge of the beach.
The ruin appears to have been rectangular in plan with only the rear wall and part of the southern gable remaining. The ruin is of drystone construction with cobble stone floor, all stone appears to be derived from beach pebbles. The building was buried by the slumping of the the cliff side to the rear.
Local opinion is that this building was related to fishing activities in the early 20th century.
The building is not shown on the 1st or 2nd 6" OS MAPS (1853,1898).
