Full Description

Blackhouse constructed after the re-settlement of the township (circa 1860). The earlier blackhouse depicted on the 1st ed OS map sheet is located 30m to the west and is associated with the settlement that was cleared in 1843.
The later blackhouse was investigated ahead of redevelopment in the form of building recording and evaluation.
