Monument record MWE150047 - Loch Fasgro

The Ross and Cromarty (Isle of Lewis) Sheet 012.14, surveyed 1895 1 to 25 inch to the mile map and 2nd edition OS Sheet XII notes a “Cairn” in the Loch at this location. No cairn was visible during the field survey. However, due to the recently discovered presence of a Neolithic settlement mound to the south in Loch Boraghstail, this may suggest that a similar submerged site exists here.
