Full Description

Quiet an effemoral feature, shape in plan unclear with a concave centre comprising of turf sides with occaisional visible stone, approximately 3m x 3m. This feature is incorparated in between naturally outcropping rocks above the loch on its south west side . A possible entrance runs steeply down to a lower level where other structural remains are visible 2m away. These comprise of a sub circular arrangement of turf and stone (approx 1.5 x 1.5). There appears to be evidence of a double faced wall adjacent to the NE part of the main feature (approx 0.4m x 4m).
The location is quiet hidden and gives good views along the valley and loch.
This feature has receeded into the landscape to a much greater degree that any of the surrounding sheilings, suggesting a medieval or earlier date of origin.
