Full Description

Field survey revealed an area measuring aprox 30m x 25, comprising of an area of uneven ground with three small earthen banked 'compartments' which are square in plan and appear to be structures; however nothing is noted on the early OS maps.

Four rectangular buildings identified on AP's. Likely to be the ruins of cottars dwellings which were part of the the settlement of Malaclete.
These ruins are not apparent on any OS maps or R.Reids, Map of North Uist 1785.
