Full Description

A narrow arrangement of stones that run to an apex at either end, located on a small grassy area near the shore. Visible as a slight grassy mound with stones and extends into the heather. Dimensions approx 5m x 1.5m. The overall location has a dramatic setting in a narrow channel between inner and outer sea lochs. Close to this location the channel narrows further causing a tidal race.
This tentatively could be the remains of a boat burial, it dimesions are similar to an excavated example at Swordle Bay on the Ardnamurchan peninsula.
