Large ruined farmstead complex comprising of two large adjoining enclosures which also incorparate eight buildings along the wall lines. Northern most is a house and byre, the house is double bay with central entrance to north, single bay to south elevation, with fireplaces at each gable end. The other buildings form an 'L'plan in the SE corner, possibly these represent other byres and stables. Attached to the southern most byres is a sub circular revetment containing a raised area, loosely interpreted as some form of stackyard? Entrances to both enclosures appear to be along the western boundary. This farmstead does not appaer on any Ordnance Survey map sheets before the 6" 2nd edition (1904).
