Full Description
A well located body in the peat bog is traditionally held to a tacksman who was murdered by a group of local people for molesting women. The remains are said to have been examined by the procurator Fiscal in 1878. According to one local informant (recorded in 1994), her great-grand- aunt has seen a body with ginger hair at Garynahine, but did not know which year.
