Crash site comprises of two main areas, a rocky gravelly scar on the steep hillside lacking vegitation and an area below this on more level peaty ground, made up of larger elements of wreckage. Other elements of the plane are scattered to the east and south east in various burn gullies. The steep area of the initial impact, is characterised by extensive melted metal, equipment fragments and fittings, plexi glass, exploded round casings & suprisingly wooden elements. Below this, the wreckage comprises of more structural elements, such as parts of the undercarrage and tyres, possible engine components, and small parts of the fuselage, wing and panelling.
