Full Description

The 6" 1st ed Ordnance Survey map sheet (1848) depicts a rectangular building with attached byre (probable blackhouse); with attached rectangular enclosure. This farmstead is situated on higher ground above the confluence of the two rivers that run ito Gleann Dhibidill. Current AP's indicate a ruin in the same location; however the layout of both the building and the enclosure differ to that indicated on the map and may represent a later building.
