Full Description

Irregular shaped drystone enclosure incorparating large natural boulders. Situated in the a small boulder field on the south facing slope of the hill. Lazy beds are visable to the north east & east between the rock outcrops. Potentially there are addition features on the mound directly NNW of the enclosure, a more recent pile of stone marks the area. Some boulders with quartz veins show signs of impact. The enclosure appears on the 25" 1st edition Ordnance Survey sheet 1897 and is annotated 'Sheepfold'.
