Full Description

Well preserved hut circle located on a shallow sloping platform on the western side of Neapabhal. The location gives expansive views of the moorland to the south, west and north west. The structure comprises of a double faced stone wall of two courses, with an entrance to the wsw. Its dimensions are approx 5m diameter. Immediately adjacent to the southern side of the hut is an irregular, linear stone wall that appears as a possible wind break. A later small rectangular sheiling is located approx 8m further south.
