Full Description

Between 1920 -1925 a fish processing factory was developed on and around this site. It comprised of accomadation blocks, curing sheds, smoke houses as well as stores , garages and a refrigeration building. The complex was served by stone and wooden piers in the bay. Operations ceased following the death of Lord Leverhulme in 1925.
