Full Description

A single sailor of the Mercantile Marine is buried in this vicinity. Details taken from CWGC headstone dated 15th September 1917 in Cuier Church graveyard (MWE147311), indicate one crew members of SS. Idomeneus was 'buried in Carragarie Point Burial Ground Vatersay Isle'. There seem to be various spellings of this location (Carragrich / Carrigridh Piont). Also the burial ground has not been identified, the only recorded burial ground in the area is Cille Bhrinnain on Uinessan.
