Full Description

NL 5598 8329:- Situated on gently sloping pasture land are the remains of an oval enclosure measuring internally 5.5m N-S by 4.0m within a wall of large vertical slabs. The enclosure has been levelled into the hillside and revetted front and back. A small recent sheep-pen has been constructed in the interior.
Although the enclosure lies close to several shielings: NL58SE 26, its construction is possibly indicative of a prehistoric house site.
