Full Description

NL58SE 4 56 80.

"There is in this Island (of Berneray) an altar dedicated to St. Cristopher, at which the natives perform their devotion. There is a stone set up hereabout seven feet high, and when the inhabitants come near it they take a religious turn round it".

No further information could be obtained during field work.
