(Name: NL 64879978) Am Marbh (Human Remains found hereabouts) (NAT)
OS 6"map, Inverness-shire, 2nd ed., (1904)

Am Marbh "is pointed out as the scene of some bloody battle. Skeletons and bones has (sic) been dug up on various occasions. The dates are not reliably known."
Name Book 1878.

No further information was found regarding this alleged battle or any human remains found in the vicinity. Site lies on rocky ground sloping down towards Loch Tangusdale.
