NB24NE 6 c. 288 489.
(NB c. 288 489) "Stone axe measuring 4 9/16 ins by 2 1/8 ins by 1 in., and a stone whorl, measuring 1 1/4 ins in diameter and 1/2 in. in thickness, found near the kitchen-midden at Bragar" (NB24NE 4) have been presented to the NMAS by Murdo Morrison, J.P., Corresponding Member.

Mr Morrison is dead. No further information.

This axe is held in the Royal Museum of Scotland under accession number AF 727. It has been petrologically attributed to group IX (porcellanite from Tievebulliagh and Rathlin, Northern Ireland).
