St Thomas's Well is no longer known at Carloway.
Visited by OS (R L) 18 June 1969.
St Thomas's Well is still known. It is located between Dalmore and Carloway, on or emptying into a stream running north-east to the shore, within the Carloway boundary fence. It is said to be visible because the waters are iron rich, and the rocks around them stained. The water was used for healing as recently as WWII. Informants, Carloway Comunn Eachdraidh MML 17.6.99
