Full Description

NB32NE 2 39 28.

There is an artificial island in Loch Orasay (NB 39 28)
F O Blundell 1913.

Not located.
Visited by OS (R L) 5 July 1969.

It is assumed that this crannog is the island revealed by low water levels in spring & summer 2001. The whole island is built over, and pottery and a saddle quern have been found. The pottery was much abraded, but probably mediaeval.
