OS 1:10,000 map, 1973, shows nine unnamed rectangular features in line along the N shore of Loch Speireag, centred NB 361 315, and an isolated one at NB 3586 3152.

What may be two roofed shieling-huts are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Island of Lewis, Ross-shire 1852, sheet 26). Ten unroofed buildings which may be shieling-huts are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).
