NB43SW 4 449 339.
Steinish Treasure Trove. In April or May 1876 some boys found in a peat moss at Steinish a rotten horn containing 26 coins of Francis and Mary, Mary, and James VI. The coins were sent to Exchequer the following June but their ultimate disposal is not stated.
