Full Description

NB56SW 15 54 60.

A broken pot, base diameter 140mm, in a stone setting was found during peat cutting. A roundish stone 0.30m by 0.27m lay on 4 smaller stones with the pottery inside. There was no sign of a pit cut in the peat. The top stone was 0.50m below present surface level.
