Full Description

NB56SW 4 51 64.

'Teampull Thomais. The site of another church of the same name (as NB56SW 3) was pointed out by a local informant. It lies about 3/4 mile NW of Lionel cross-roads and 1/2 mile due south of Europie.'
(Martin mentions only one St Thomas's church but, according to the Name Book (1852) for the other Teampull Thomais, it was cannibalised to build Teampull Pheadair - NB56SW 2. Hence this may be the site of a second church, succeeding the first when it was ruined.)
M Martin 1934; Name Book 1852; RCAHMS 1928.

There is no local knowledge of a church and no trace in the area indicated by the Commission, an area of dunes.
Visited by OS (R L) 14 June 1969.
