A cushion mace-head was found during peat-digging by Mr Angus Murray in 1948 at a depth of 9ft on a low ridge between the Cross and Swainbost rivers, 700 yards S of the W end of Loch-na-Muilac.
Purchased for the NMAS - length 9.7cm, maximum breadth 4.4cm, maximum thickness 2,9cm; hole 1.6cm diameter.

According to Mr Murray the OS site is correct.
