Full Description

NB56SW 9 51 60.

An axe-shaped pebble, 3.6 ins long, with hour-glass perforation, was found at Cross by Malcolm Smith of Ness, "after the removal of the peat", and was given by him to the NMAS.
Proc Soc Antiq Scot 1953.

Mr Smith is dead. His sister thinks that the find came from the area of Tom Steinatotair (NB 51 60).
