NB02SE 4 051 200

Two shielings, one in good repair and one in ruins in 1852, at the base of Cnoc na Crotha. Two very small streams flow between them.
Name Book (Ross-shire Insular)

One unroofed shieling-hut annotated as a Ruin, two roofed shieling-huts and what may be two lengths of head-dyke are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire, Island of Lewis 1854, sheet 34). Three black dots which may indicate the location of buildings are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1973).
