Full Description

NB23SW 25 204 319.

There are four or five low oval stone foundations on the shore at a little promontory in Tob Collavig. They are about 4m long and may be the bothies of early 19th century kelp burners, who apparently stayed on the shore for the season, though they could easily be a lot older. Letter from M and G Ponting to Dr J Close-Brooks, NMAS, 20 February 1979.
