A number of shielings built of peat moss sods and stones to which is attached a small portion of green or arable pasture. One shieling is in ruins.
Name Book 1851
One unroofed shieling-hu, which is annotated as a Ruin, and four roofed shieling-huts are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire, Island of Lewis 1853, sheet 31). Five unroofed buildings are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1973).
