Eilean na Mna Mairbhe (name meaning 'Island of the dead woman') is published on OS 1:10,000 map, 1972, following earlier editions, at NF 834 577. However, Beveridge states that this is incorrect, and the name should be applied to another island about a mile to the N, where there is a possible site of a chapel within its graveyard.
E Beveridge 1911.

Chapel not traced.
Visited by OS (RD) 8 June 1965.
