L7: A substantial balckhouse, 10.3 x 5m, with clear traces of internal stone lined partitions. There is an interesting complex of lazy-bedded cultivation plots and remains of a small outbuilding to the W.
Storm waves have ripped out the NE corner and part of the S wall of this balckhouse.

84. Rubha Liath (L7)
Site Type: blackhouse
Thick-walled oblong building, 10.3 x 5 m, eroding at the seaward side. The door appears to have been towards one end of the south wall but this is uncertain. There are flimsy secondary partitions inside dividing the area into four 'pens'.
Three raised areas of lazy-bedding are situated to the west of the site, flanked by drainage ditches. (PL.2B)
