A65: Three adjacent small square buildings robbed and grassed-over, the largest with a small pen attached to one side.
NMRS MS 595/10, 3
A65 (NF707040) Complex of three small rectangular buildings adjacent to a sea loch and protected from the west by a rock outcrop. The central thick-walled building, 8.8 x 4.7 m, is divided into two rooms, each with its own external door but no connecting internal door. The larger room measures 5 x 2.8 m, and the smaller 1.6 x 2.8 m. In front of this building a second subrectangular structure 9.2 x 8.1 m is thinner-walled and mostly destroyed. Some 35 m to the rear of the central building a thick-walled building 7.2 x 4.1 m has a door at its eastern corner and an annexe 4.2 x 4.1 m with a door on the opposite (west) side. The central building appears to be a small blackhouse with a separate byre, and the other thick-walled building may also have originally been a blackhouse.
