S2 Turf and stone wall enclosing a small headland, with stone faceing on outer side. Within the enclosed area (75m x 35m) there are clear traces of lazy-beds; the wall is intended to keep sheep out of the enclosure. Immediately adjacent to the sea and eroding at the sea's edge.

10. Bervig Bay (S2)
Site type: enclosure wall
A stone and earth bank 2m wide enclosing two sides of an area 74 x 36 m, the remaining sides being bounded by the sea. This area is lazy-bedded in two directions. The bank is eroding into the sea at its ends, and the section reveals that this is a carefully constructed 'sheep wall' with a vertical stone wall 0.75 m high on the outside face and a sloping bank on the inside.
