S5: stone-built wall fronting a small hill flanked by two streams. The wall is roughly coursed but also incorporates large naturalboulders/rock outcrops into its line. Its total length is c28m and its width 1m; at its highest it stands 1.25m high. It appears to have been built to protect the lower slope of the hill from the sea. To the N, about 50m from the sea, on a fern-covered hillock, there is a pronounced rectangular platform 7m x 5m, which is almost certainly the site of a small building. Waves reach considerably further inland than this wall; at its southern end the wall has been washed alomost entirely away. The wall is almost certainly 18th/19th century.
