SY 41: Low grassed mound with traces of walling around perimeter, and traces of internal features. Has some appearance of a wheelhouse, 9m diameter.

SY41 (NL64079066) Wheelhouse (Iron Age).
Location: Coastal valley floor.
Description: Circular, 9 m diam., with internal radial divisions set on large grassy platform. Located close to a stream that originates in Loch na Culice, the site is within one of the early modern settlement areas and therefore liable to extensive stone robbing.
Note: Iron Age pottery sherd found in rabbit burrow.
