SY54 (NL64999201) Complex of blackhouse and byre and two animal pens.
Location: On sand dunes of Cille Bhride bay.
Description: Complex covers an area of c.20 x 10 m encompassing blackhouse, outbuildings and enclosures.

SY54a (NL64999201) Blackhouse.
Location: As above.
Description: Unimproved rectangular, 10 x 5 m single cell blackhouse with boulder wall foundations 1.2 m wide and entrance to the south-west. Some lengths of walling are not defined, especially the north-west corner.
Note: Slightly defined enclosure walls connect to the north and east.

Description: Square, 4.2 x 4.1 m, single cell with internal stone square setting in north-east corner.
Note: Possible kiln house?

Description: Subrectangular, 5 x 4 m, indistinct single cell wall foundation.
Note: Possibly earlier version of SY54b.

Location: As above.
Description: Rounded subrectangular enclosure, 7 x 5 m, marked with spaced stones that may have been put down along the bottom of wire fencing to stop the stock from pushing underneath.
Note: Further indistinct stone settings may indicate other enclosures.
