BY68. Megalithic chamber tomb? Two orthostats, each 0.8m long, have been exposed by sheep disturbance in an earth and stone moundof diameter c. 6.5m. [See MSS. for plan].
P Foster 1992; NMRS, MS/595/7 and MS/595/8.

BY68: Chamber tomb. Bottom of coastal slope. BY 68 is located much lower down the slope than some of the others, well into the settlement area at around the 20m contour, but it is prominently displayed upon a possibly natural circular mound, 6.5m diam., of post-glacial solifluction deposit of mixed soil and stone. Two slabs over 1m in length are set on edge forming a single straight line, presumable (sic) one side of a robbed-out rectangular chamber. In the central area on the mound summit is a mass of small stones. Other stones of varying sizes are scantily scattered locally. Notable damage from burrowing.
