Full Description

VN 149: A complex of five buildings built on ledges and slopes immediately above the road. The two nearest the sea appear to be more recent than the others with considerable stone still showing; the others are heavily embedded. Building A is c10 x 8m externally, with a SE-facing door and appended wall running to a small square outbuilding to the SW. Building B next to A is c7 x 5m externally with a SE-facing door. Building C is situated upslope from B and is about 8 x 5m with traces of a central partition or structure and a SE-facing door. Building D is further up-slope behind C and is about 9m square, with a SE-facing door. Building E abuts building C to the SW and is 6 x 5m with some sort of platform or structure to the left of its doorway in the SE wall. A wall runs SW from one corner of building E, along the back of building B to enclose a 'yard'. There is a further heavily embedded and robbed building up-slope, sitting on a prominent stone-rich mound.
