Full Description
NF60NE 10 6949 0962
E11: A stone ring, of about 70 stones, forming an oval about 14.5 x 12m. The largest atone is about 1m wide, and two stones are set upright with a narrow gap between them on the W side. The area inside the ring is slightly hollowed, and there are just two large stones lying within it. The site invites comparison with NF60SE 32 in a similarly exposed position and with NL69NW 60.

Site type: Stone Ring/Activity Enclosure
An oval about 14.5 by 12m enclosed by a ring of well embedded stone blocks. On the west side two stones, about 0.7m high , are set upright with a narrow gap between them.A quadrant was excavated in 1994 and revealed a low 'bench' around the inside of the stone ring, with a possible shelter built into it.The only artifact material was a handful of simple quartz artefacts of uncertain date.
